Barbequed Lentils
2 cups dry lentils
5 cups water
1/2 bottle BBQ sauce
Process lentils in water by soaking or pressure cooking.
After lentils are processed, pour 1/2 bottle of BBQ sauce. Heat and
mix well. Serve on buns. Add carrot sticks for a healthy and filling
meal!
I buys lentils in bulk (25 lb bag.) When BBQ sauce goes
on sale, I stock up. I buy large onion buns or sesame seed buns or just
plain buns at a bread outlet for about $1.70 for a large tray of 40-50
buns. Very inexpensive meal!
